Side And Lower Back Pain

The side and lower back pain are the discomforts which occur on either the right or left side of the lower back. The right lower back pain is very common compared to the left one; this is because as people perform their daily activities majority uses the right hand side. Thus, due to the heavy work they end up bending on the right so it may lead to right pain.

Side pains may radiate either to or from the lower back area. It may be a symptom of some serious diseases or infections. It is described as severe or mild cramp feeling. Side pains may occur suddenly and disappear, just like a stitch which occurs after running. It may build up for a long period of time due to infections.  If a person suffers from severe side pains, it is always very important to visit a medical center for diagnosis and treatment. Also the patient may be helped to control the symptoms of the pain and also be able to reduce any risk arising from the side pain.

In most cases, the people who suffer from the side and lower back pains are said to be lacking vitamin D from the body. This vitamin can be obtained from the early morning sun, or from eating food items, which include Milk, breakfast cereals and fish. A regular exercise is very important if you want to avoid the side and lower back pains. One may use an exercise ball incase he or she is experiencing a right lower back pain. The ball in most cases helps one to become more flexible and also leads to increment in the tune of the lower back muscles. Thus, the strength of the muscles increases body support and reduces the pain.

Many people are advised to keep their back free from pain. Which they can achieve by apply some simple techniques. That is if you feel hurt at any part of the back. One should smear around with a heating pad or just stretch to ease the pain.

In some case, the pain, which originate from, the side like the abdomen part mostly ends up causing the lower back pains. The pains may be due to menstrual cramps for the ladies. They are always advised to take a bed rest or use warm bottles to prevent the cramps.

The left side lower back pain occurs more frequently and is identified by some pains which originate from the lower parts of the ribs. The pain mostly occurs just like an aching pain which is in particular times very intense. The pain, at times, is sensitive to touch. If people with this symptom visit a medical doctor and get tested, the tests of the majority of people tend to be negative to illness. Hence, they end up with no prescriptions for medications for the cure of the pain.
