The pain originating in the back shows a variety of symptoms. The pain sometimes may aggravate so much that it could lead to disturb in sleeping. Also generalised body weakness and numb sensation are common complaints of the sufferer. One common problem the victims face especially if the pain is in lower part of the back is during urinating and defecation. These actions can aggravate the pain to a great extent. So it gets really problematic for one to perform the daily morning lavatory rituals. Also, there may be stiffness. Due to stiffness the person may suffer from restriction of movements which is certainly very uncomfortable. Some of the warning signs that suggest worsening of the problem include weakness and numbness in groin region, weakness in limbs, fever, pin and needle sensations, loss of voluntary control of bladder and bowel function, no relief even after rest. In that case one must visit the physician.

Although back pain is a common problem of the generation it ought not to be neglected. A simple pain in the back can be treated in home by hot-cold therapies or other homemade remedies. But if it is not cured and radiates to other parts of the body like abdomen, groin, upper and lower limbs, then visiting a medical practitioner is the wisest choice.
